Dr. Cary Rasof, a Family Practice Physician, pursued a career in medicine to serve the poor in developing countries. He has participated in medical missions assisting Amazonian tribes in Suriname, Hmong refugees in Thailand, Adavasi tribal people and Tibetan Refugees in India, Native Americans in the United States, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, as well as refugees at the Nakivale refugee settlement in Uganda. He also joined relief efforts in the Gujarat earthquake, the Indonesian tsunami, the AIDS epidemic in Zambia, the Angolan civil war and the Rwandan genocide with the Nobel Peace Prize winning humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders. Dr. Cary co-founded a grassroots humanitarian organization, Hearts and Hands for Africa, that promoted responsible sustainable development to empower people to help themselves and others. His mission is to bring love to the world and create opportunities for people to serve others.
