Dr. Cary Rasof, a family practice physician, pursued a career in medicine to serve impoverished communities in developing countries. He has participated in medical missions assisting Amazonian tribes in Suriname, Hmong refugees in Thailand, Adivasi tribal communities and Tibetan refugees in India, Native Americans in the United States, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, and refugees at the Nakivale refugee settlement in Uganda.

He also joined medical relief efforts in response to the Gujarat earthquake, the Indonesian tsunami, the AIDS epidemic in Zambia, the aftermath of the Haitian coup, the Angolan civil war, and the Rwandan genocideall under the auspices of Doctors Without Borders.

Additionally, Dr. Cary established a school and orphanage in Nepal, a Hepatitis B treatment program for Tibetan refugees in exile, and co-founded a grassroots humanitarian organization—Hearts and Hands for Africa—that promoted responsible, sustainable development, empowering people to help themselves and others. His mission is to bring love to the world and create opportunities for people to serve others.
